When I was at school, I was both fortunate and privileged enough to be taught English by a chap by the name of Paul Fox. He had a unique teaching style and sense of humour that never failed to stir interest amongst his pupils.

More recently, Paul has been writing and performing comic poetry of his own unique style. He’s been good enough to publish a couple of recordings from his latest collection Going for the Juggler on YouTube, which are embedded below.

If you like Paul’s poetry, do nip over to his web site and purchase his book. And spread the word, too :-)

Quick cold start of the Rover V8 in the Dakar

We appear to have had a bit of an ice storm in North Staffs, and very lovely it is too :-)

Winter Wonderland

Oooh - pretty!

I twas one of the coldest nights I can remember last night – thermometer recorded -17c! What’s more, I was greeted by this on the inside of the kitchen windows this morning!

Frost is supposed to be outside, damn it!

More snow, please!

At least that’s what a lot of people are saying, so time to commence one of my least favourite jobs: chopping logs :-/

Woodhenge :-)

Woo! Yay! Cruiser happened to click over to 250,000 miles as I pulled into the supermarket car park, hence managed to get a photo :-)

A quarter of a million miles. Just about run in, then...

Oh good grief...

This chap was crashing into the fluorescent lights in the garage, so having caught him it seemed like a good photo op before releasing him :-)

Hey there little fella!

Long exposure photo taken from my office window on a particularly lovely summer night…
